What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep, so that it can recognise the browser later. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, do the same job by other means, and the rules below apply to all of them.
02
What this site sets
Nothing. This site sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and loads no script or font from a third party. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
If that changes, this page will change with it, and anything that is not strictly necessary will ask you before it is set rather than after.
03
What the service will set
The Rebrse app and signed in areas, when they launch, will use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, to keep your session secure, and to prevent fraud. Those do not require consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, because the service cannot be provided without them. They will be listed here individually with their purpose and lifetime.
04
Controlling them yourself
Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and refuse new ones. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of a signed in service working, which is a trade you are entitled to make. Guidance for each browser is in its own help pages.
